  • Send a check to you to purchase equipment; or
  • Require you to provide personal information, such as your driver’s license or Social Security number during an interview OR ask you to provide this information in an email (collection of this information happens later during the background check and onboarding processes).

If you have any questions about the authenticity of a position or a job offer you may have received we recommend verifying the employment opportunity and the authenticity of the recruiter by visiting and either confirming the job is posted there or contacting us directly

"Bama Rush showed us how TikTok can turn a very specific college tradition into a national spectacle. Dorm culture is doing the same thing, as what used to be a quiet move-in weekend is now a public performance where the reveal and the viral traction matter as much as the room itself," explains Stephanie Carls, who is RetailMeNot's retail insights expert. "This is not decorating. This is dorm culture. That being said, Ikea will still beat out West Elm for most students."
